Role Description This full-time, on-site Assistant Store Manager role is based in Amb and supports the overall operations of the store. The Assistant Store Manager will help oversee daily store activities, including supervising staff, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring accurate merchandising and product display. Responsibilities include supporting customer-facing operations, addressing customer queries and concerns, and promoting a positive in-store experience. The role also involves assisting with cash handling, sales tracking, and adherence to company policies, including safety and loss prevention procedures. The Assistant Store Manager collaborates closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets, maintain operational standards, and ensure smooth store functioning.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Effective Communication skills to interact with customers, team members, and management, and to convey information clearly and respectfully.
• Store Management capabilities, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining visual merchandising and operational standards.
• Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to reduce shrinkage, ensure compliance with procedures, and maintain a secure store environment.
• Previous experience in retail or store operations, preferably in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and standard office tools for reporting and documentation.
• Ability to work on-site in Amb, including weekends or extended hours as needed.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; a diploma or degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is an advantage.
