About the Role

The Senior Executive- Leadership Sourcing will support leadership hiring mandates by driving structured market research, talent mapping, and candidate sourcing across relevant industries and companies. The incumbent will build and maintain strong candidate pipelines, support preliminary candidate engagement and screening, and ensure accurate management of talent databases. Working closely with the leadership hiring team, the incumbent will contribute research-driven insights and robust candidate funnels to support efficient and high-quality leadership hiring outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent mapping and identification:

  • Conduct structured market mapping to identify potential candidates across defined companies, industries, and adjacent sectors.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing channels including professional networks, research tools, and talent platforms to build leadership talent pools.
  • Identify and engage with potential candidates for leadership mandates through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Develop candidate longlists aligned with defined role requirements, ensuring a strong match of experience, skills, and potential.

2. Market Research & Insights:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging talent pools in relevant leadership domains.
  • Track leadership movements, organizational structures, and competitor talent strategies to strengthen search outcomes.
  • Analyze market data and insights to support talent identification and inform search strategies.
  • Compile structured research summaries and talent landscape insights to support internal discussions and mandate planning.

3. Database Management & Talent Pipeline Development:

  • Maintain accurate and updated records of candidate profiles, interactions, and search progress in internal databases.
  • Build and organize talent pipelines for current and future leadership hiring mandates.
  • Leverage internal knowledge repositories and external platforms to identify and track potential candidates.
  • Ensure disciplined documentation of market mapping outputs, candidate information, and sourcing activity.

4. Candidate Engagement & Team Collaboration:

  • Initiate outreach to potential candidates to assess interest and alignment with leadership opportunities.
  • Conduct preliminary screening conversations to validate candidate background and motivations.
  • Maintain professional communication to ensure a positive candidate experience during early engagement stages.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to support timely execution of leadership search mandates.

Who are we looking for

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelors/masters degree in human resources,
  • Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in executive search, leadership hiring, or strategic talent acquisition, with exposure to mid to-senior level mandates.
  • Exposure to working with several industries or business functions and building leadership talent pipelines.

Skills:

  • Experience conducting market research and talent mapping to identify potential candidates, competitor talent, and emerging talent pools.
  • Ability to develop candidate longlists, talent landscapes, and research summaries to support leadership search mandates.
  • Strong database management skills with experience maintaining candidate pipelines, talent trackers, and search documentation with high accuracy.
  • Exposure to initial candidate outreach and screening conversations to assess role alignment and interest.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and contribute to timely search execution.
