Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Executive IT to ensure smooth IT operations, incident management, and end-user support across the organization. The role involves handling desktop/laptop support, software and OS administration, LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and maintaining IT assets. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues within defined SLAs and ensure the seamless functioning of IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Incident Management:

  • Log, prioritize, and resolve desktop/laptop service requests and incidents within defined SLAs.
  • Escalate unresolved hardware or software issues to 2nd/3rd-level support teams.

Hardware Support:

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and scanners.
  • Perform hardware diagnostics, identify faulty components, and arrange replacements or repairs.

Software & OS Administration:

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Windows OS and standard applications (Office 365, antivirus, SAP GUI, etc.).
  • Manage user profiles, local group policies, and execute data backup/restoration processes.

Network & Connectivity:

  • Troubleshoot LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity issues and ensure secure VPN access for on-site users.
  • Coordinate with the network team for switch/router and related infrastructure issues.

Asset Management:

  • Maintain and update hardware inventory and software license records.
  • Ensure compliance with IT asset lifecycle management practices.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Graduate in Computer Science / IT / Electronics or relevant technical field.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in IT support, desktop/laptop administration, and incident management.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS administration, Office 365, and standard enterprise software.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware components and LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity.
  • Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and VPN technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of IT asset management and license tracking.
  • Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet SLA-based resolutions.
