Medanta is constantly growing its digital healthcare services, launched homecare and has also entered into Out-of-hospital verticals by setting up lab services (outside hospital) & Pharmacy chains. We further plan to scale up our existing facilities, expand into few more geographical areas and also identify new avenues within Healthcare eco-system (Medical School)

Job Objective

Manage Payroll, Statutory Compliances (PF, Gratuity, ESIC, minimum wages, shops & establishment etc.), Benefits Administration (Insurance, Leaves etc.), HR Operations (F&F processing, employee lifecycle changes on HR systems etc

Key Responsibilities

1) Payroll Management

  • Process end-to-end payroll for employees, including salary calculations, reimbursements, incentives, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Ensure correct application of PF, ESI, TDS, professional tax, gratuity, and other statutory contributions.
  • Maintain payroll records, reports, and reconciliation with accounting and finance teams.
  • Address payroll-related queries from employees and resolve discrepancies promptly

2) HR Operations

  • Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements, including labour laws, Shops & Establishment Act, minimum wages, and PF/ESI guidelines.
  • Manage compliance audits, inspections, and filings.
  • Support HRBP and management in policy implementation and compliance-related reporting

Requirement

  • 3–6 years of experience in payroll processing and HR operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws, PF, ESI, TDS, gratuity, and other statutory regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll software and HRIS systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills to interact with employees, management, and statutory authorities.
