About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Senior Executive HR Operations to own day-to-day HR operations with a strong focus on payroll, compensation, benefits, HR systems, compliance, and stakeholder management. This role is critical in ensuring smooth employee lifecycle operations while supporting scale and process maturity in a fast-growing startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management & Compensation
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate inputs for new joiners, exits, increments, variable pay, and reimbursements.
- Support compensation structuring, revisions, and salary benchmarking.
- Handle payroll queries and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain payroll data accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
Benefits Administration
- Manage employee benefits including but not limited to Flexible Benefits, health insurance, rewards and other statutory/non-statutory benefits.
- Coordinate with insurance and benefits vendors for enrollments, claims, additions, and exits.
- Ensure seamless onboarding/offboarding from a benefits perspective.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefits-related queries.
HR Operations & HR Digital
- Own employee lifecycle operationsfrom onboarding to exit.
- Maintain accurate employee records across HRMS and digital platforms.
- Drive adoption and optimization of HR systems, tools, and workflows.
- Generate HR dashboards and reports related to headcount, attrition, payroll, and compliance.
- Continuously identify opportunities to automate and improve HR processes.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to statutory and labor law compliances (PF, ESIC, PT, CLRA, Shops & Establishments, etc.).
- Coordinate on audits, inspections, and statutory filings with internal teams and vendors.
- Maintain documentation and registers as per legal requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and ensure timely implementation.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted HR operations partner for employees, managers, and leadership.
- Work closely with Finance, Legal, TA, and external vendors to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate HR policies, processes, and changes clearly and effectively.
- Support leadership with HR data, insights, and operational inputs.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 24 years of relevant experience in HR Operations, Payroll, and Compliance (startup or high-growth environment preferred).
- Strong hands-on experience with payroll processing and HRMS platforms.
- Good understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliances.
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced setup.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
