ABOUT ROLE:
The Senior Executive - Global MG Procurement Process and Systems will be responsible for the administration and optimization of Global Procurement process & systems, with a focus on system management, global projects, and stakeholder support initiatives that align with Avery Dennison's Plan to Win. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to drive change in a global organization.
Our global Materials Group comprises Label and Packaging Materials, Graphics Solutions, Reflective Solutions, and Performance Tapes businesses and this role will seamlessly support the collaborative efforts across those respective businesses. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Process & Systems, this role will enable administration and optimization of Global procurement process & systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Systems Administration & Optimization:
- System Configuration & Maintenance: Serve as the primary administrator for our core procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle Fusion SCM). This includes managing and optimizing system configurations related to user roles, permissions, approval workflows, and business rules.
- System Enhancements & Upgrades: Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to evaluate, test, and implement system upgrades, patches, and new features for SAP Ariba. Manage the communication and change management process for these system updates.
- Master Data Management: Ensure the integrity of procurement-related master data, including supplier information, item catalogs, and contract data. Support development and enforcement of data governance policies to ensure accuracy and consistency across the organization.
- User and Access Management: Manage user accounts and access controls, ensuring compliance with security policies and internal controls. Conduct regular user access reviews to maintain data security and segregation of duties.
- System Support and Troubleshooting: Act as a subject matter expert for end-user inquiries and technical issues. Provide expert-level support for system-related problems, working with IT and system vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current procurement processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Design and implement new, more efficient, and effective processes. Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Lead policy and software compliance reviews.

- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to identify trends, measure performance, and provide actionable insights to leadership. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on key procurement metrics.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including Finance, IT, and Legal, to ensure a seamless and compliant procurement process. Act as a point of contact for system and process-related inquiries.
- Training and Support: Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for procurement systems and processes. Provide ongoing support to end-users to troubleshoot issues and ensure system adoption.
- Project Management: Lead and participate in procurement projects, from system upgrades to process redesigns. Manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT, or a related field.
