Job Summary

The Senior Executive – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting

operations, statutory compliances, and ensuring accurate financial records. The role mandatorily requireshands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for accounting, reporting, and process controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting & Book Closure Maintain books of accounts including GL, AP and fixed assets in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Check supporting, Purchase order, GRN, POD, Agreement & Approval while booking the Invoice Track of Advance payments to get invoices timely Track of Provision to get invoices timely Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures Vendor reconciliation on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • Import Finance & Compliance (Essential) Possess strong knowledge of the end-to-end import process, including purchase orders, shipment documentation, customs clearance, and accounting treatment. Review and verify import documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, Bill of Entry, Insurance Certificate, and Certificate of Origin. Thorough understanding of recording of import purchases, customs duty, IGST, freight, insurance, and other landed costs in ERP application along with loading of associated cost at SKU level. Ensure proper capitalization and inventory valuation of imported goods. Reconcile import transactions with suppliers, customs brokers, and logistics partners. Coordinate with banks for import remittances and compliance under FEMA and RBI regulations. Track import shipments and ensure timely customs clearance. Manage GST and customs duty reconciliations related to imports. Support statutory, tax, and internal audits relating to import transactions.
  • Accounts Payable Processing vendor invoices with proper supporting documents and approvals Vendor ledger reconciliation and follow-ups Monitoring MSME Vendor, Vendor Payable, ageing, and Advance control Statutory & Tax Compliances
  • GST compliances including:
  • GSTR-2B reconciliation with purchase data from Business Central
  • ITC reconciliation and mismatch resolution

TDS compliances: calculation, deduction and payment

  • ERP & Process Management Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (mandatory)

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)

Experience

4–7 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts

Minimum 2–3 years hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

(mandatory)

Technical Skills

Strong accounting knowledge and statutory compliance exposure

Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, reconciliation tools)

ERP reporting and control experience

Behavioural Skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong coordination and communication skills

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
