Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Senior Executive –EXIM to manage end-to-end international trade operations. The role requires strong expertise in export/import documentation, trade compliance, logistics coordination, banking processes, and stakeholder management. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of domestic and international shipments while maintaining compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end export and import operations, including documentation and shipment execution.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, ports, CFS operators, and internal
stakeholders.
- Prepare and review export/import documents such as invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, bills of
lading, and certificates of origin.
- Handle RoDTEP claims, EDPMS, and IDPMS compliance activities.
- Manage Marine Insurance and Port Registrations for trade operations.
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, RBI, APEDA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with banks for export documentation, e-BRCs, LC documentation, and trade finance
processes.
- Track shipments and provide timely updates on dispatch, clearance, and delivery status.
- Support inspections, container loading, production follow-ups, and order execution activities.
- Maintain operational records, MIS reports, and shipment trackers.
- Drive process improvements, cost optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Conduct market research and support business expansion through export opportunities and trade
insights.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management,
Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Export/Import Operations, International Trade, Logistics, or Supply
Chain Management.
- Strong knowledge of export/import documentation and international trade processes.
- Hands-on experience with RoDTEP, EDPMS, IDPMS, Marine Insurance, Port Registrations, DGFT
regulations, Customs procedures, and Export Incentive Schemes.
- Good understanding of Incoterms, Letter of Credit (LC), export finance, trade compliance, and banking
documentation.
- Experience in coordinating with customs authorities, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and banking
institutions.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and operational reporting.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and process orientation.
