Senior Executive / Executive, Cash Operations

Job Purpose:

• Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of cash related transactions such as remittance, fund transfers, money market, foreign exchange, FX derivatives and structured products.
• Ensure all policies and procedures including controls are adhered to.
• Updates SOP and SPIs are updated on time for new products and procedures.
• Process, check and authorize transactions. Ensure all transactions are processed by end-of-day
• Ensure issues, complaints and backlogs are escalated and reported on time.

Job Description:

• Cash transactions
• Processing and Fixing of Cash derivatives and structured products
• Regulatory reporting
• Reconciliation and other controls
• Project involvement – Perform UAT for enhancements and cash related system projects
• Keen interest in leveraging technology, automation, coding, data analytics, or AI to improve operational efficiency and customer experience

Job Requirement:

• Knowledge in remittance, FX and FX derivatives operations – min. 2 years
• Knowledge in other cash related structured product – min. 1 year
• Minimum Basic Degree in Banking, Finance, Business or Accountancy or with minimum of two (2) years operations related working experience in the financial industry
• Good understanding and knowledge of MAS626 and other AML related regulations and operational risk & controls
• With working knowledge on Private Banking suite of products and familiar in supporting business processes
