Job Title

Senior Executive - EHS

Job Description

Responsible for managing Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) activities at site, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and company policies. The role includes conducting risk assessments, safety trainings, mock drills, safety committee meetings, and incident investigations with CAPA implementation. Oversees work permit systems, firefighting systems, safety documentation, and legal compliance (Factories Act, MPCB, etc.). Coordinates with internal teams and site EHS head to maintain a safe working environment and successfully handle safety audits.

  • Manage overall Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) activities at the site.
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain proper documentation.
  • Organize and conduct safety committee meetings, department-wise EHS meetings, and contractor safety meetings.
  • Conduct mock drills and prepare detailed reports.
  • Deliver safety training sessions to employees and contract workers.
  • Maintain safety logbooks and related reports.
  • Ensure firefighting systems are functional and maintain relevant records.
  • Monitor and administer the work permit system at the site.
  • Conduct incident investigations, recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and maintain records.
  • Prepare Safety & Environment Plans (SEP) and related EHS qualification documents.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Acts and statutory requirements (Factories Act, MPCB, etc.).
  • Identify, report, and take corrective action against unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
  • Coordinate and manage customer and safety audits, including preparation and maintenance of required documents.
  • Handle day-to-day EHS activities in coordination with the EHS Head.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance of all legal and statutory documentation.
