About the job 

Position: Senior Executive – Editorial Strategy 

Years of Experience: 2+ years  

CTC: Up to 8.25 LPA 

CTC Breakup ₹ 82,000 Annual Retention Bonus. This is a part of the above CTC and is released on completion of one year. Subject to being on the payroll and not serving a notice period. 

City: Mumbai 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Key Performance Indicators for the role: 

• New pitches 

• Acquiring new clients 

• Creative ideation & research: Own the pitch process end-to-end — from decoding the client brief and conducting research to shaping a content strategy and presenting it back to the client. Spot the problems, opportunities, and passion points driving each client's business, then rally the team to solve for them. 

• Creative thinking: Shape sharp, effective campaigns for brands, whether it's a product launch or a topical moment. Weigh in on creative direction and the platforms best suited to amplify it. 

Existing clients 

• Strengthen content marketing impact for our marquee clients. 

• Partner with a team of strategists across some of India's biggest brands, taking on brand challenges and deepening these partnerships. 

• Long-term account planning: Play a key role in the sustained growth of Scatter's existing brands by driving annual, quarterly, and monthly planning, and tracking success against each client's goals. 

 

Qualifications 

2+ years of experience in editorial strategy, content marketing, or a related field, with agency experience mandatory. 

A postgraduate degree in marketing, advertising & public relations, communication management, or digital media. 

A creative thinker structured and organised in how you approach your work. 

Someone who leads by example and builds rapport with clients at every level. 

Articulate, with a genuine enjoyment of pitching ideas. 

Comfortable juggling multiple priorities at once. 

A team player who values different perspectives, skills, and personalities. 

Plugged into the latest developments in content marketing. 

Aware of how content consumption habits shift across different audience groups. 

Proactive — happy to go beyond the brief and unfazed by ambiguity.
