Job Purpose

To ensure smooth functioning of new PLM tool across the organization ensuring resolution of system issues faced by users in a timely manner and enhance user understanding of the system.

Job Context & Major Challenges

1. System performance monitoring and improving the same in co-ordination with vendor during peak loads
2. Ensuring timely Issue resolution during peak usage
3. Clearance of SAP integration issues during peak data flow
4. Improving system error language continuously in co- ordination with vendor as error possibilities are high in mass excel upload scenarios.
5. Avoiding delay in resolution of issues from vendor technical team as it may require multiple testing, feedback and liaison with original software provider(DS)

KRA1Improve issue resolution1. Implement systematic issue resolution process
2. Ensure average issue resolution timelines as per target
3. Maintain issue tracker and follow up with technical team
4. Resolve day to day user issues through Sampark tool
KRA2Improve user perception1. Analyze issues faced by users
2. Implement corrective action interms of fine tuning of tool, creating user awareness and improving user understanding of tool functionalities
KRA3Improve effectiveness of PLM1. Track system processes in alignment with BPC calendar
2. Identify issues leading to delays and enable corrective action
KRA4Cleanup of system Data1. Download system data for materials and goldseals migrated from old system
2. Identify errors and gaps in data attributes
3. Laisse with users and rectify errors and fill gaps
4. Archive unused items(materials, goldseals and products)
KRA5Improve user comprehension of tool usage and its functionalities1. Conduct refresher training for users on a quarterly basis or as per requirement
2. Assess user comprehension on relevant tools
3. Conduct specific awareness sessions for focused groups to improve comprehension
