Position: Senior Executive Concurrent Audit
Location: Bangalore, 5days work from office
Summary: The Senior Executive Concurrent Audit will be responsible for overseeing the real-time audit of Purchase Order (PO) releases and invoice payments, ensuring compliance with internal policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements. The role involves identifying process gaps, mitigating risks, and improving the efficiency of financial transactions through a robust concurrent audit framework
Key Responsibilities:
- Concurrent Audit Execution: Conduct real-time audits of PO releases and invoice payments, ensuring adherence to company policies and financial controls.
- Risk & Compliance Monitoring: Identify gaps, anomalies, and deviations in procurement and payment processes, escalating issues to management where necessary.
- Process Validation: Verify vendor approvals, contract terms, pricing, tax applicability, and payment terms before processing POs and invoices.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with company procurement guidelines, finance SOPs, and regulatory norms related to vendor payments.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain audit trails and prepare periodic reports on key observations, risk trends, and audit findings.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with procurement, accounts payable, finance, and internal audit teams to address audit findings and improve processes.
- Fraud Detection & Prevention: Monitor transactions for any suspicious activities, unauthorized payments, or policy violations.
- Process Improvements: Recommend enhancements to internal controls, automation opportunities, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Training & Awareness: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of concurrent auditors, ensuring adherence to audit methodologies and best practices. Assign audit tasks, review audit work, and provide training to enhance team competency.
Qualification & Experience:
B.com/ M.com 3-6 years of experience in relevant position
Preferred: Working in manufacturing or service Industry except BFSI
