Role Overview

Renovate India is seeking a dynamic communications professional with exceptional writing, proofreading, and branding skills, combined with strong knowledge of the social sector and CSR ecosystem.The role involves developing, reviewing, and managing high-quality written content including CSR proposals, reports, research documents, and impact stories ensuring alignment with Renovate India's tone, values, and strategic growth objectives.The ideal candidate possesses strong social understanding, research acumen, and the ability to translate complex ideas into engaging, insightful, and impactful content that strengthens Renovate India's brand and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Development & Proofreading

Draft, edit, and proofread CSR proposals, concept notes, reports, presentations, and other communication materials.

Ensure grammatical accuracy, logical structure, and adherence to Renovate India's communication standards.

Create clear, engaging, and high-quality content for diverse audiences, highlighting social impact and project outcomes.

2. Marketing & Branding Communication

Develop brand-aligned communication for marketing campaigns, outreach materials, and online platforms.

Support design and execution of communication strategies that enhance brand visibility and stakeholder engagement.

Collaborate with design and digital teams on creative assets, website content, newsletters, and promotional materials.

3. Strategic & Research-Based Communication

Work with leadership and program teams to gather insights, data, and field narratives for content creation.

Draft proposals and reports rooted in CSR methodology, research frameworks, and evidence-based insights.

Integrate social research findings and methodology into content to ensure credibility and depth.

4. Research & Knowledge Integration

Conduct research on social development trends, CSR best practices, and innovative communication approaches.

Develop well-structured research content with clarity on methodology, findings, and impact

5. Quality Assurance & Team Support

Uphold editorial excellence and brand alignment across all deliverables.

Review drafts for factual accuracy, coherence, and consistency in tone and presentation.

Support and guide team members in maintaining high communication standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in proposal writing, CSR documentation, academic or research-based content.

Proven ability to draft CSR proposals and research-oriented documents with clear understanding of methodology and outcomes.

Strong social awareness, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver high-quality content withindeadlines.

Preferred Attributes

Experience in social enterprises, NGOs, or CSR-driven organizations.

Familiarity with CSR and research methodology, including data interpretation and content structuring.

Ability to craft persuasive, visually engaging, and impact-focused communication materials.

Proactive, organized, and passionate about leveraging communication for social good.
