BigMint (formerly SteelMint/CoalMint) is a leading platform for price reporting, market intelligence, and industry-scale B2B events. We organize flagship conferences and expos, bringing together CXOs, policymakers, and global industry leaders from the manufacturing, mining, and metals sectors.

The Role

We are looking for a high-energy Senior Executive – Business Development for our Events division. This is a revenue-centric role where you will be responsible for the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing high-value event delegates and upselling sponsorship and exhibition deals for our national and international summits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation: Drive top-line growth by onboarding delegates and selling premium sponsorship packages, exhibition stalls, and other event branding assets.
  • Prospecting & Lead Management: Identify and prospect new B2B clients across relevant industrial sectors (Steel, Mining, Construction, Non-Ferrous,Agriculture, Polymers, Equipment Suppliers, Technology Providers etc.).
  • End-to-End Sales: Lead negotiations, prepare customized commercial proposals, and close deals while ensuring all contract formalities are completed.
  • Account Management: Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with new & existing clients and industry partners to ensure recurring participation.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with internal marketing/ops teams to ensure seamless delivery of promised deliverables.
  • Field Engagement: Ready to travel outstation for on-field client meetings, plant visits, and industry roadshows to build brand presence.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years in B2B Sales, Enterprise Sales, Key Account Management, or Events Business Development.
  • Domain Knowledge: Preference for candidates from the Events, Exhibitions, or Conference industry.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to engage confidently with CXO-level executives.
  • Execution: Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing multi-stakeholder coordination.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools and professional platforms like LinkedIn for lead generation.

Good to Have

  • Prior exposure to event operations or managing large-scale B2B exhibition layouts.
  • An existing network within the manufacturing, infrastructure, or heavy industries.
