Job Purpose
We are looking for a BI Developer to join our team. In this role, you will primarily focus on advancing our Tableau capabilities through technical expertise and innovation. You will work closely with our business analyst to understand requirements and translate them into impactful visualizations and reports. Role
- Utilize Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server to design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with the business analyst to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Implement best practices for data visualization and dashboard design to enhance usability and user experience.
- Explore and implement advanced Tableau features and techniques to improve data analysis capabilities.
- Optimize Tableau performance and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting needs from business stakeholders.
- Drive adoption of BI dashboards by improving usability and relevance.
Qualification & experience
- Bachelor's degree (Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field but not mandatory).
2-5 years of experience working with Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
Essential skills
- Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
- Demonstrable portfolio of developed dashboards.
- Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with a desire to continuously learn and improve technical skills.
- Experience with SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Knowledge of other BI tools such as Power BI or QlikView is plus.
- Prior experience of working in BFSI/NBFC/Lending industry is plus.
