Position Overview:
TheSenior Executive - Accountsis responsible for supporting finance operations through accurate documentation management, transaction processing, banking coordination, and basic accounting support activities.
The role ensures timely submission, tracking, and reconciliation of financial documents while maintaining compliance with internal controls and audit requirements. In addition to administrative coordination, the role will support finance team members in routine accounting activities, reconciliation processes, and record maintenance to ensure smooth financial operations.
Job Purpose:
To support finance operations through structured documentation management, banking coordination, basic accounting processes, and compliance adherence, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and operational efficiency within the finance function.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Document Management & Record Keeping
. Maintain organized filing (physical and digital) of financial documents, vouchers, and records.
. Ensure safe storage and easy retrieval of documents during audits or internal reviews. . Maintain proper indexing and tracking of submitted and received documents.
Submission & Coordination
. Submit documents to banks and other external offices as required. . Coordinate with internal stakeholders for timely documentation and approvals. . Follow up with banks and other institutions for processing updates and clarifications.
Banking & Financial Transactions Support
. Handle banking-related activities including document submission, cheque deposits, withdrawals, and collection follow- ups. . Assist in preparation of banking documentation and reconciliation statements. . Maintain records of banking transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
Basic Accounting & Reconciliation Support
. Assist in preparation of vouchers and supporting documents. . Support ledger scrutiny and reconciliation of accounts under supervision. . Assist in tracking advances, payments, and expense documentation. . Support month-end closing documentation and coordination requirements.
Compliance & Control Support
. Ensure adherence to internal financial control processes. . Maintain documentation readiness for audits and compliance checks. . Ensure accuracy and completeness of submitted financial documents.
File Storage & Maintenance
. Manage systematic storage of financial files and supporting documentation. . Ensure timely archival of records as per company policy.
Other Responsibilities
. Perform additional finance and administrative tasks as assigned by the reporting manager. . Support cross-functional coordination related to finance documentation when required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
. Graduate (Commerce preferred)
. B. Com / BBA (Finance) preferred
Experience:
. 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance operations, accounting support, or banking coordination roles
. Exposure to basic accounting entries and reconciliation preferred
. Experience handling documentation and banking transactions preferred
