Senior ETRM Business Analyst
India (Remote)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to our team in India.

Reporting to the Product Manager, the ETRM Senior Business Analyst plays a key role in analysing, designing, and supporting solutions across the Energy Trading & Risk Management landscape. Working in close partnership with the Product Manager, you will have a critical role in shaping and delivering Brady's ETRM product roadmap. You will collaborate closely with the Implementation Team to understand customer needs and new feature requests, translate them into structured business requirements, and work with the Engineering team to ensure these are developed into highquality product features. As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor junior analysts, influence solution design, and drive continuous improvement across product and delivery practices.
Key Accountabilities:
Product & Roadmap Delivery
- Break down roadmap initiatives into features, epics, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Support prioritisation of the product backlog based on strategic value, customer needs, and technical considerations.
- Contribute to market and customer research to inform product planning and business cases.
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Engage with internal teams and external customers to gather, analyse, and validate business requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Services to fully understand customer pain points and enhancement requests.
- Translate highlevel requirements into wellstructured functional specifications, process maps, and user stories.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and backlog refinement using Agile methodologies.
Collaboration with Engineering & Services
- Work with Engineering to ensure functional requirements are well understood, feasible, and aligned with architectural guidelines.
- Support Engineering in solution scoping, prototyping, and estimation activities.
- Collaborate with Services to ensure new features meet customer expectations and are operationally ready.
- Act as a key liaison between customer-facing teams and development teams.
Solution Design & Delivery Support
- Contribute to solution design ensuring alignment with business workflows, ETRM best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Validate functional behaviour through review of test scenarios, test data, and UAT activities.
- Ensure releases are clearly documented and communicated to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve product usability, workflows, and overall customer experience.
- Promote best practices within the BA community and support improvements in analysis frameworks and templates.
- Mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on analysis techniques, product knowledge, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support the creation of training materials, documentation, and internal enablement sessions.
Knowledge:
- Significant experience with Energy Trading & Risk Management platforms (e.g. Endur, Allegro, Aspect, RightAngle, or similar).
- Strong understanding of endtoend commodity trading lifecycle processes.
- Knowledge of risk management concepts such as VaR, Greeks, marktomarket, and exposure reporting.
- Familiarity with energy market regulations (REMIT, EMIR, DoddFrank, etc.).
- Understanding of REST APIs, interfaces, and ETRM integration patterns.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and user story best practices.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data structures, including working with SQL outputs.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across Product, Services, Engineering, and customer teams.
- Ability to translate business and customer needs into clear, actionable functional requirements.

- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Selfmotivated, proactive, and able to work independently or collaboratively in crossfunctional teams.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across diverse groups.
