Job Title: Senior Estimation Engineer (CIVIL) Real Estate / Construction

Key Responsibilities

Estimation & Costing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates based on approved drawings, specifications, BOQs,

and project requirements.

• Develop project block budgets during the planning and tendering stages.

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost calculations.

• Prepare rate analysis for various construction and engineering activities.

• Maintain and update standard cost databases and estimation norms.

Budgeting & Cost Control

• Prepare project budgets and establish cost baselines.

• Conduct budget reconciliation by comparing estimated costs against actual project

expenditures.

• Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.

• Monitor project cost performance and provide periodic MIS reports.

Value Engineering

• Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization without

compromising quality and performance.

• Evaluate alternative materials, methods, and design solutions to improve project

profitability.

Site Coordination

• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and Planning

teams.

• Support site teams with budget clarifications, cost analysis, and resource planning.

• Assist in resolving technical and commercial issues related to project costs.

Consumption Analysis & Cost Standards

• Conduct material sampling and study consumption patterns.

• Develop and maintain standard consumption constants for various project activities.

• Analyze productivity and material utilization data to improve estimation accuracy.

ERP & Systems Management

• Feed project estimates, budgets, and cost data into the ERP system.

• Maintain estimation records and cost databases within ERP.

• Generate cost reports and project dashboards from ERP systems.

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of cost-related information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in estimation, budgeting, and project costing.

• Experience in High-rise Building Project Estimation

Required Skills

• Expertise in detailed estimation and quantity take-offs.

• Strong knowledge of rate analysis and cost engineering.

• Experience in block budgeting and project cost control.

• Knowledge of value engineering principles.

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and cost analysis tools.

• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
