Role Description The Senior Estimation & Billing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Goregaon, responsible for managing estimation, quantity take-offs, and billing activities for electrical and ELV projects. This role involves preparing detailed BOQs from drawings and specifications, conducting rate analysis, and supporting tender preparation and bid submissions. The engineer will oversee billing systems, verify subcontractor and client bills, coordinate with project managers and site teams to validate quantities, and ensure timely certification of bills. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project documents, tracking cost variations, preparing comparison statements, and maintaining records for audit and compliance. The role also includes supporting project planning with accurate cost forecasts, optimizing resource utilization, and contributing to continuous improvement in estimation and billing processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong estimation and quantity surveying skills, including BOQ preparation and Quantity Surveying for electrical and related systems.
• Candidates should possess solid billing and financial control skills, including experience with Billing Systems and Rate Analysis in construction or MEP projects.
• Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret drawings, technical specifications, and project data for accurate cost calculations and billing.
• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with substantial experience in estimation and billing for electrical or MEP projects.
• Good understanding of electrical contracting practices, project execution workflows, and relevant codes and standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software; familiarity with ERP or project management tools is an advantage.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities, with capacity to work closely with site teams, vendors, and clients.
• Attention to detail, integrity in documentation, and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
