About the team

Ever wonder how the hundreds of parts in your new smartphone come together from different suppliers all over the world Kinaxis solves problems like that every day. Our customers have terabytes of data to analyze for some of the largest supply chains imaginable.  Our algorithms move the global economy in seconds and minutes, not hours, or days.

As a member of the R&D Support Team under the Product Operations Group, you will join a highly motivated team in solving complex customer problems. You should be able to read and write code and enjoy improving and fixing existing software. You will work very closely with both our core development teams and our customer support organization in a fast-paced environment. You will use cutting-edge troubleshooting techniques to ensure customers installations run smoothly. If you have a positive attitude and enjoy a variety of work, then this is the place for you.

 

 

What you will do
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex customer issues across environments.
  • Design and implement solutions for high-impact problems.
  • Debug issues across applications, systems, and database layers.
  • Support and enhance large-scale, performance-critical systems.
  • Collaborate with support and engineering teams to improve product quality.
  • Identify root causes and drive long-term fixes.
  • Work closely with development teams to reproduce and validate issues.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
 What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • 8-12 years of experience in software development or product support
  • Strong experience in Java and JavaScript related technologies
  • Working knowledge of multi-threading and concurrency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues
  • Familiarity with system-level debugging and performance tuning
  • Experience working in fast-paced, customer-facing environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

 Nice to have

  • Exposure to C# and .NET technologies
  • Background/interest in understanding of Supply Chain Management
  • Understanding of cloud environments and infrastructure
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and results orientation
