Job Description

Join our Equity Research team in Mumbai and help deepen our footprint within an exciting and growing market, leveraging the strengths of the Macquarie platform. You will be working as a writing analyst, covering IT & Services companies in India in an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture.

What role will you play

Reporting to the Head of India Equity Research, you will leverage your expertise to identify and articulate compelling investment opportunities. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality research through rigorous market analysis, detailed financial modeling and insightful reports that guide institutional clients decisions. You will actively engage with senior stakeholders at covered companies, maintain strong industry relationships and provide timely, actionable insights that reflect both company-specific fundamentals and broader macro trends.

In addition, you are expected to drive thought leadership and uphold the highest standards of accuracy and clarity in every piece of research you produce, actively contribute to our Asia regional product, and stay on top of emerging themes to guide investment decisions.

What You Offer

  • Excellent academic qualifications in finance or related disciplines
  • 5+ years experience in equity research (buy-side or sell-side) with relevant sector expertise. Corporate strategy or investor relations experience gained within the IT and Services industry is welcome
  • Exceptional analytical and writing skills, with a proven ability to deliver actionable insights
  • Strong communication skills with a solid track record of building relationships with institutional clients and internal stakeholders globally
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
