Job Summary

We are looking for a finance professional with 36 years of equity research experience to support offshore investment research teams in the Asset and Wealth Management industry. The role involves building and maintaining detailed financial models, conducting company valuations, preparing sector and company reports, and summarizing earnings calls. Strong analytical and financial skills, proficiency in databases like Bloomberg/Reuters, and excellent communication are essential. A CA/MBA (Finance) or CFA qualification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• The candidate would be required to provide offshore support to investment research team of Asset and Wealth Management industry (Buy-Side)
• A keen interest in financial markets and investment strategies
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Build detailed financial models, update historical and provide forecasts
• Develop sector / company drivers based on key operational metrics across different sectors / companies
• Proficient in deducing company valuation using DCF, relative, among others
• Prepare company profiles, earning notes, quarterly updates, initiation of coverage reports, sector reports, newsletters, primers, flash notes, and theme-based reports, among others
• Familiarity with financial databases and software (e.g., Bloomberg, Excel)
• Summarize earnings conference calls, industry / expert calls, and conduct management interviews
• Prior experience in equity research and related field is preferred
• High level ethical integrity and professionalism

Required Qualifications

• Relevant Experience of 3 6 years with graduate/master's degree
• CA / MBA (Finance); CFA (added advantage)
• Strong accounting and financial skills
• Good analytical skills
• Knowledge of macroeconomic aggregates and regression analysis
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Good listening skills
• Ability to implement new working styles
• Ability to identify proactive ways of contributing to the company's goals and mission
• Knowledge of databases (such as Bloomberg and Reuters) and other financial data systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
