Job Summary

We are seeking a research-driven Equity Research / Investment Analyst to support buy-side investment strategies across Mutual Fund (MF), PMS, and AIF mandates. The role involves conducting sector-agnostic equity research, building financial models, performing company valuations, and identifying investment opportunities. The candidate will work closely with Portfolio Managers, prepare investment notes and recommendations, monitor portfolio performance, and track industry and macroeconomic developments to support informed investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

oPartner closely with Portfolio Managers to support investment strategies and portfolio decision-making across MF/PMS / AIF mandates..

oConduct comprehensive, sector-agnostic equity research on publicly listed companies and evaluate investment opportunities across sectors.

oPerform deep-dive analysis of public and private companies to identify potential investment opportunities.

oBuild, maintain, and update financial models (DCF, relative valuation, scenario and sensitivity analysis) for existing and prospective investments.

oCarry out detailed company valuations and provide well-researched buy-side investment recommendations.

oAnalyze financial statements, annual reports, investor presentations, and management commentary to assess company performance and outlook.

oTrack industry trends, regulatory developments, macroeconomic factors, IPOs, corporate actions, and quarterly results to monitor and validate investment theses.

oPrepare detailed research notes, investment ideas, event updates, and presentations for internal discussions and stakeholders.

oMonitor portfolio holdings across MF / PMS / AIF portfolios, providing periodic performance evaluation and risk analysis.

oMonitor portfolio holdings and provide periodic performance and risk analysis.

oParticipate in management calls, earnings reviews, and industry interactions to strengthen research insights and support investment decisions.

Qualification & Skills:

10 years of experience in equity research, with substantial experience in a decision-making role within an AMC, PMS, or AIF.

Strong expertise in the Indian equity markets, with a proven ability to identify structural trends, navigate market cycles, and generate consistent alpha.

Demonstrated experience in building and leading investment teams, including recruiting, mentoring, and managing fund managers and analysts.

Postgraduate from a reputed institution; CFA Charter holders or CAs will be highly preferred.
