Senior Equities & Derivatives Dealer

Job description:

Seeking a seasoned Senior Equities & Derivatives Dealer for our esteemed client, aSEBI-registered Stock Brokingfirm established in 1997. It is a Member of various Stock Exchanges, namely, BSE, NSE, MSE, MCX and a Depository Participant with CDSL. It is also a SEBI-registered Research Analyst Entity.

The ideal candidate must have extensive experience inexecuting trades for institutional clients, such as insurance companies, mutual funds,etc with a deep understanding of market dynamics and compliance standards.

Job Responsibilities-

Execute equity and derivative trades.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure smooth trade execution and client satisfaction.

Provide real-time market insights and execution strategies to clients and the internal research/sales teams.

Monitor market movements, liquidity, and order flow to achieve optimal execution results.

Ensure all trades are executed in strict compliance withSEBI, NSE/BSE, and internal regulatory norms.

Maintain accurate records of trades and client interactions for audit and compliance purposes.

Work closely with back-office, compliance, and risk management teams to ensure smooth trade settlements.

Skills Required

• Minimum 6 years of dealing experience in equities and derivatives. Proven track record of executing trades forinstitutional clients, especially Insurance companies and domestic institutions.
• Strong understanding of market structures, trading platforms (ODIN, NOW, NSE NEAT), and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage high-value transactions efficiently.

Qualifications -

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or Economics.
• NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) and NISM Series VII (SORM) Certifications.
• MBA (Finance) or CFA qualification preferred.
