YOUR ROLE
You will be responsible and focus on improving tool performance and availability, in charge of maintenance, diagnosing failures and implementing effective solutions to meet uptime requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment performance in cleanroom environment for quality production.
- Continually improve tool uptime availability, drive defect reduction and enhance hardware capability.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability and improve MTBC.
- Analyze FDC data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for optimization.
- Provide On Job Training for junior engineers on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Drive cost reduction projects.
- Work with equipment vendors, Hookup and Facility Team to perform tool relocation, startup and commissioning.
- Communicate with equipment vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed.
- Maintain work environment 5S.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Equipment Engineer in Thin film (PVD) module.
- Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
- Strong analytical, logical and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
- Experience working in PVD Endura, LAM Sabre (Cu Plating), SPTS Delta/Sigma, ULVAC SME-200, Novellus Altus, Centura WxZ, P5000 Chambers.
