Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for a Senior Environment Health Safety Engineer. The responsibilities include developing and implementing environment, health, and safety (EHS) policies and programs, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, and delivering safety training programs. The engineer will also monitor workplace practices addressing safety engineering requirements, respond to safety incidents, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety performance.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and standards.
- Expertise in Health & Safety policies, Occupational Health principles, and Safety Engineering practices.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering training programs related to EHS.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in preparing safety documentation and compliance reports.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in health and safety management, such as NEBOSH or OSHA, are an added advantage.
- Prior experience in construction or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
