Senior Consultant Oracle Fusion ERP (R2R)

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Consultant Oracle Fusion ERP with deep expertise in the
Record-to-Report (R2R) process and related Oracle Cloud Financials modules. The ideal candidate will lead functional design, implementation, integration, and support activities, while ensuring strong alignment between business requirements and Oracle Fusion capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Expertise- Lead end-to-end implementation and support for R2R modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Cash Management
- Intercompany Accounting
- Subledger Accounting (SLA)
- Map business processes to Oracle Fusion R2R functionalities and design scalable, efficient solutions.
Implementation & Delivery
- Conduct business requirement workshops and translate requirements into functional design documents.
- Perform module configuration, setups, testing (SIT/UAT), and deployment activities.
- Design and validate accounting rules, financial reporting structures, and periodclose processes.
- Support month-end/year-end financial close cycles and troubleshoot R2R issues.
Integrations & Technical Coordination- Work closely with technical teams on integrations involving:
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- REST/SOAP APIs
- Other applications HCM, SCM, FDIP and 3rd party integrations
- Validate data migration for COA, balances, FA assets, journals, and related R2R datasets.
- Collaborate with developers for custom reports, BIP templates, FRS, and OTBI analytics.
Governance, Compliance & Stakeholder Interaction
- Ensure configurations adhere to accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Act as the functional SME for R2R and financial accounting processes.
- Provide training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to business users.
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams (P2P, O2C, Projects, SCM) for seamless financial integration.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years overall experience with 5+ years in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
- Strong functional expertise in R2R processes and modules.
- Experience in at least 23 fullcycle Oracle Fusion Financials implementations.
- Deep understanding of COA design, accounting rules, subledger interactions, and period-close cycles.
- Strong exposure to integration, data migration, and financial reporting tools (FRS, OTBI, BIP).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Should be aware of the Fusion AI agentic capabilities and solutions
- Should be the interface with the technical team, business and Oracle team to ensure right maintainable solution is achieved for the business requirement
- Should be having an overall understanding of other fusion modules HCM, SCM, FDIP
Preferred Skills
- Oracle Cloud Financials certification.
- Working knowledge of P2P, O2C, and crossmodule accounting flows.
- Ability to guide junior consultants and lead functional workstreams.
