Enterprise Architect
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Enterprise Architect to lead the architectural strategy and technical direction across our product suite. This role is ideal for a senior technologist with 20+ years of experience in software and systems architecture, with a strong background in enterprise technologies, product development lifecycles, and scalable platform design.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and hands-on leader capable of aligning technology initiatives with business goals, driving innovation, and enabling secure, high-performance solutions for a rapidly evolving digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define and lead the enterprise architecture strategy across the organization, focusing on building scalable, resilient, and secure software platforms.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership, product management, and engineering teams to translate business goals into actionable technology strategies.
- Technology Oversight: Evaluate, recommend, and implement modern technologies, frameworks, and platforms that align with long-term product and business vision.
- Systems Integration: Design robust integration strategies for third-party APIs, internal systems, and data platforms to ensure seamless interoperability and data flow.
- Governance & Best Practices: Establish enterprise-wide architecture standards, design patterns, and governance processes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor solution architects, domain architects, and technical leads across multiple teams to foster architectural excellence.
- Innovation & Research: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud computing, data engineering, AI/ML, and cybersecurity.
Key Qualifications
- 18 + years of experience in enterprise and/or solution architecture, with a proven track record of designing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.
- Deep expertise in modern architecture paradigms including microservices, event-driven architecture, API-first design, and cloud-native platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong understanding of data privacy, security frameworks, and regulatory compliance across industries.
- Proven leadership in designing enterprise systems that operate at scale with high availability, performance, and resilience.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps-driven environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a Chief Architect, Director of Architecture, or similar leadership role.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with AI/ML, data platforms, digital transformation initiatives, or platform modernization is a plus.
