Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the centers strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Build and scale the center as a center of excellence for healthcare software
- Drive innovation in healthcare IT solutions (EHR, EMR, RCM, interoperability, AI/ML, cloud)
Delivery & Operations
- Own end-to-end delivery of healthcare software projects
- Ensure adherence to quality, security, and compliance standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, ISO, SOC)
- Establish robust delivery governance, KPIs, and risk management
- Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high customer satisfaction
Healthcare Domain Leadership
- Provide domain leadership across:
- Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
- Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR)
- Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
- Medical devices & interoperability
- Work closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders of healthcare clients
People & Talent Management
- Lead and mentor engineering, QA, product, and project management teams
- Drive talent acquisition, retention, and leadership development
- Build a strong culture of accountability, innovation, and compliance
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary escalation point for key healthcare clients
- Build long-term partnerships with hospitals, payers, providers, and healthtech firms
- Support presales, solutioning, and client presentations
Financial & P&L Management
- Own P&L for the center
- Drive cost optimization, productivity, and revenue growth
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and capacity planning
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy laws
- Oversee audits, security reviews, and regulatory requirements
- Manage operational and delivery risks
Required Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering / Computer Science
- MBA or Healthcare Management qualification (preferred)
Experience
- 15 to 25 years in software services or product development
- Minimum 8 to 10 years in senior leadership roles
- Strong experience in healthcare IT / HealthTech
- Proven experience managing large delivery center's (200+ employees)
Key Skills & Competencies
- Healthcare domain expertise (EHR, HIS, RCM, interoperability)
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (Agile, DevOps)
- P&L and business management
