About the role
We are looking for an experienced technical visionary and people leader to help us build, lead, and scale this site from scratch to 100+ strong over the next 3 years.
What You'll Do
- Build and scale a world-class engineering teams in Hyderabad.
- Recruit, nurture, and lead a high-performance team across software engineering, QA, and business analysis.
- Take full ownership and accountability for strategic product areas developed in India
- Foster deep collaboration with teams in Europe, North America and Sri Lanka while building a culture of local autonomy and strong ownership.
- Help establish Agile practices, metrics-driven delivery, and high-velocity execution rhythms.
- Partner closely with product team to shape roadmaps that meet global and regional customer needs.
- Be one of the critical technical and cultural anchors for our India growth story, including future product lines tailored for India and South Asia.
- Champion a people-first culture, and lead with empathy, transparency, and purpose.
- Drive strategy for your areas, alignment on outcomes, and excellence in execution.
- Facilitates communication among stakeholders and team members, ensuring specifications, budgets, and deadlines are clearly communicated and understood.
- Perform employee appraisals and coach team members for high performance and continuous development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local and international laws and regulations
Who You Are
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 8 years in a leadership role scaling engineering teams in product companies.
- Experience helping set up and grow an engineering/product organization from the ground up in India.
- Strong understanding of building enterprise-grade software, preferably in ERP, CRM, HCM, or complex business platforms.
- Hands-on technical depth in product architecture, software delivery, and modern tech stacks (bonus: .NET, C#, AWS/Azure).
- Track record of attracting, retaining, and mentoring top talent.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to break down large problems into deliverable pieces, and drive outcomes.
- Strong collaborator who communicates effectively across functions, cultures, and time zones.
- Obsessed with customer outcomes and building solutions that truly solve business problems.
- Growth-oriented and intellectually curious willing to dive deep into understanding the ERP domain and our platform.
