Job Summary

As Senior Engineering Manager-QA , We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Engineering Manager with over 14 years of experience and relevant expertise in managing QA teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep technical understanding, and the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders and customers. This role requires a proactive and innovative individual who can drive technical excellence and ensure successful project delivery He will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products that enhance the driving experience and meet industry standards.

Responsibilities -

  • Leadership and Team Management
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high- performance work environment.
  • Manage team performance, conduct regular reviews, and provide continuous feedback and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination within the team and with other departments.
  • Stakeholder and Customer Interaction
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, addressing their concerns and providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Facilitate effective communication between the engineering team and customers to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Technical Oversight and Quality Assurance
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team, leveraging expertise in various Validation activities & lead Reliability/soak/Load/Performance testing for different product/program across division.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating relevant advancements into the team's work.
  • Project Management
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Ensure planning for different program from Quality assurance standpoint. Additionally, track progress, and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues promptly to keep projects on track.
  • System Understanding and Innovation
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end systems, including cloud and mobile applications.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team, exploring new methodologies and technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency & better Quality product
  • Qualifications -
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 14 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-functional teams and delivering successful projects.
  • Strong technical expertise in various aspect of Testing/QA and an understanding of end-to-end systems including cloud and mobile applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
