Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our AI Strategy and Enterprise Architecture initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in enterprise AI/ML architecture and system design, with a strong focus on Azure-native services. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate business requirements into actionable AI architectures while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
- AI Strategy & Enterprise Architecture: Define and own the enterprise AI architecture roadmap, focusing on traditional ML, deep learning systems, large language models (LLMs), multimodal AI, and responsible AI solutions.
- Translate business and domain requirements into Azure-aligned AI reference architectures.
- Establish architectural standards, reusable patterns, and best practices for AI adoption across the organization.
- Azure Platform & Infrastructure Architecture: Design and oversee Azure-based AI platforms, including Azure AI Studio, Azure Machine Learning, and GPU-backed compute.
- Define scalable ingestion and processing pipelines for high-volume and real-time data.
- Architect integrations with enterprise systems, ensuring solutions meet performance, availability, cost, and security objectives.
- Model Lifecycle, MLOps & LLMOps: Define end-to-end model lifecycle management and drive adoption of MLOps and LLMOps best practices.
- Build shared AI platforms and reusable components to accelerate enterprise AI delivery.
- Governance, Security & Responsible AI: Ensure AI systems comply with data privacy, security regulations, and responsible AI principles.
- Leverage Azure security and governance capabilities to define guardrails for safe AI usage.
- Innovation & Technical Leadership: Continuously evaluate emerging Azure AI capabilities and drive experimentation with generative and multimodal AI.
- Act as a technical thought leader and advisor to senior leadership, presenting AI architecture strategies to executive stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills
- Deep expertise in enterprise AI/ML architecture and system design.
- Strong hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), embeddings, fine-tuning, and adapters.
- Experience with multimodal AI and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures.
- Proficiency in vector search and semantic retrieval.
- Project Management experience is a deal breaker.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure-native services and tools.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations.
- Familiarity with advanced inference optimization and deployment strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven track record of leading AI/ML projects in an enterprise environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
