Job Description: Senior Engineering Manager - DevOps & Platform

Myntra s Engineering team builds the technology platform that empowers our customers shopping experience and enables the smooth flow of products from suppliers to our customers doorsteps. We work on building massive-scale web applications, engaging user interfaces, big-data analytics, mobile apps, workflow systems, inventory management, etc.You will have the opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing organisation and gain exposure to all the parts of a comprehensive e-commerce platform.

About The Team

The Cloud Platform Engineering(CPE) group is responsible for developing and managing platforms that allow Myntra s tech products to be deployed and run at scale. The CPE team builds and maintains centralized and high-scale platforms for sophisticated application security frameworks, log collection, monitoring systems, access management, secret management, database access, change management systems, build, release and deployment.

You will be part of the group. You will develop distributed solutions with service-oriented architecture to build high-performance platforms to service India's largest selection of millions of fashion customers. Furthermore, you will build Tier-1 services to handle millions of requests daily while maintaining response latencies in milliseconds and meeting strict SLA requirements (high operational standards).

You will not merely go through the complete software development cycle but, more importantly, drive appropriate technology choices for the business, lead the way for continuous innovation, and shape the future of fashion e-commerce.

The Role

We are looking for a visionary DevOps Manager to lead our Platform Engineering team. You will transition our high-scale e-commerce infrastructure from a custom-built CD system to a Next-Gen AI-driven platform. Your mission is to automate everything, integrate robust DevSecOps guardrails, and ensure our 24/7 retail operations run on a self-healing, fail-safe architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Transformation: Migrate legacy in-house CD tools to ArgoCD and Helm, standardising Kubernetes deployments across all environments.
• Advanced Deployment Patterns: Implement and scale Canary and Blue/Green deployments to ensure zero-downtime releases during peak sale events.
• Pipeline Engineering: Architect end-to-end CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, ensuring a seamless commit-to-cloud

Experience

• DevSecOps & Guardrails: Shift security left by integrating SonarQube, image scanning, and automated code analysis directly into the build flow.
• AI Integration: Explore and implement AI/MLOps for predictive scaling, automated incident root-cause analysis, and intelligent resource optimization.
• Leadership: Manage a team of high-performing engineers, fostering an Agile culture Required Technical Expertise
• Orchestration: Deep expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) and Helm Charts.
• GitOps: Hands-on experience with ArgoCD, Helm and k8s deployment strategies
• CI/CD: Mastery of GitHub Actions and building reusable workflow templates.
• Observability: Proficiency with Prometheus, Grafana, and EFK for proactive monitoring.
• Security: Solid understanding of SAST/DAST, container security
• Cloud: Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP Preferred

Qualifications -

• Strong background in Python, Go, or Java for building scalable platform components and automation scripts.
• 9 to 11 years in development with at least 2+ years in a leadership role managing the devops platform team
• Previous experience of handling high-concurrency traffic
• Proven track record of managing a DevSecOps transformation in an organization.
• Strong opinions on Developer Experience (DevEx) and building internal developer platforms (IDP).
