Position Summary:

Provides leadership and strategic direction for manufacturing operations to ensure the achievement of business objectives in safety, quality, delivery, cost, yield, and productivity. The role is responsible for driving operational performance across engineering, production, and technical functions, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes and effective utilization of people, equipment, and materials to support new and existing products. Through strong leadership, talent development, and continuous improvement, the position builds organizational capability and delivers sustainable operational results.

What You Will Do:

Operational Excellence

• Drive process control, yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity enhancement, and excursion prevention to achieve manufacturing performance targets.
• Improve manufacturing capacity, equipment utilization, and operational efficiency across all production processes.
• Identify opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes and lead improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, cycle time, quality, yield, and cost performance.

Manufacturing Execution

• Lead the successful introduction, qualification, and ramp-up of new products and processes into high-volume manufacturing.
• Partner closely with Production and cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues, maintain manufacturing stability, and ensure smooth production flow.
• Take accountability for achieving departmental objectives and ensure timely execution of key deliverables.

Leadership & Organization Development

• Provide technical leadership and develop engineering capabilities within the assigned manufacturing area.
• Coach, mentor, and develop managers and team members to strengthen technical expertise and leadership capability.
• Optimize organizational structure and resource allocation to meet operational priorities and business objectives.
• Lead cross-functional and cross-site initiatives to improve operational performance and support business objectives.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, security, and regulatory requirements.

What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):

• 3 - 5 years in the managerial management capacity.
• Knowledge on structured improvement and problem-solving approach.
• Good organization, planning, and communication skills.
• Project management and ability to work with cross function teams.

Education (Minimum Level)

• Bachelor's

Field of Study

• Any related Engineering field

Years of Experience (Minimum)

• 10 years

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with BB or GB (6 sigma).
• Experience on LED product and process development.
• Excellent understanding of and ability to apply statistical tools and statistics.
• Knowledge in AEC (Automotive Electric Council) requirements, automotive LED application and market.
• Experience in ISO/TS 16949 audit requirements.
