Role: Senior Engineering Manager
Overview:
Join a world-class team of engineers, designers, product managers, and analysts at eBay, working on one of the world's most trafficked and loved websites. Our team is dedicated to crafting products that make a significant impact.
As a leader, you will guide a talented full-stack team focused on backend and frontend engineering to own the My eBay and Charity engineering teams to achieve strategic objectives aligned with eBay's Buyer & Community Engineering organization. The ideal leader for this role will set a strategic vision, focusing on high-impact technical investments, reducing technical debt, and enhancing delivery speed. They will integrate teams, fostering a culture of engineering excellence to streamline deployments and decrease engineering friction. Cross-functional collaboration is crucial; the manager will work closely with Core Tech, SRE, and other domains at eBay to develop new methods and share technology roadmaps, driving initiatives that impact the business. Responsibilities include overseeing engineering operations to align with eBay's standards, mentoring engineering talent to champion excellence, and delivering solutions that enhance customer experience.
