Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Zscaler L2 Support Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in managing and supporting Zscaler Proxy solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Zscaler technologies and be able to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality support to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 support for Zscaler Proxy, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Zscaler services.
- Document and maintain knowledge base articles for common issues and resolutions.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of Zscaler Proxy solutions for new clients.
- Conduct training sessions for junior team members and clients on Zscaler functionalities.
- Stay updated with the latest Zscaler features and best practices to enhance service delivery.
Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience with Zscaler Proxy, including configuration, troubleshooting, and support.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security principles.
- Experience with incident management and ticketing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud security solutions and architectures.
- Familiarity with other Zscaler products such as Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
- Certifications related to Zscaler or cloud security (e.g., Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4 years of relevant experience in IT support, with a focus on Zscaler technologies.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality support in a fast-paced environment.
