Role Description The Senior Engineer role is a full-time remote position responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of engineering and automation solutions across TEAL's key business divisions. Day-to-day activities include translating customer requirements into technical specifications, designing systems and components, reviewing detailed engineering drawings and documentation, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution. The Senior Engineer will participate in feasibility studies, cost and time estimations, risk assessments, and validation of engineering solutions through testing and commissioning support. This role also involves mentoring junior engineers, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Senior Engineer will collaborate closely with customers and internal stakeholders, providing technical guidance, resolving complex issues, and contributing to innovation in automation and precision engineering.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, electronics, or mechatronics engineering, with demonstrated experience in automation systems, machine design, or precision component development.
• Proficiency in engineering design tools and software (e.g., CAD/CAE platforms), with the ability to interpret technical drawings, models, and specifications.
• Experience in industrial automation technologies such as PLCs, motion control, robotics, sensors, and integrated testing systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production systems relevant to automotive, aerospace & defence, electronics, or EMS environments.
• Understanding of quality and reliability standards, including tolerance analysis, validation testing, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to address complex engineering challenges independently.
• Effective communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills for remote collaboration with cross-functional and customer teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field),
