Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Test Analysis & Design
- Analyze project test requirement documents and derive test scenarios.
- Develop and execute test cases; review cases prepared by juniors and peers.
- Create and execute automated test scripts.
- Participate in DRB meetings, team meetings, and customer calls to clarify requirements or resolve issues.
Test Planning & Execution Support
- Assist Test Leads with test estimations, strategy planning, and monitoring progress.
- Ensure timely delivery of testing activities.
- Adhere to project processes, security guidelines, and organizational standards.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Suggest automation ideas, process improvements, and productivity enhancements.
- Develop accelerators, tools, or macros for efficient testing.
- Participate in mandatory learning and development initiatives (minimum 6 days/year).
Mentoring & Collaboration
- Mentor and coach junior Test Engineers in the team.
- Collaborate effectively with peers, leads, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure optimal utilization of own time and contribute to cost savings for the organization.
