THE ROLE

Candidate would be actively working on L2, L3 related issues on Windows platform.

He would be responsible for managing client infrastructure and needs to resolve client queries within stipulated timeframe.

Candidate would be a part of 24*7 rotation support and would be responsible for answering Customer queries over the emails/calls.

Candidate should take ownership and escalations from Level 1 team and resolve with customer satisfaction.

Candidate must get involved in implementing, designing architecture for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Installation and configuration of Windows server 2012, 2016 and 2019.
  • Designing, Implementation and configuration for Microsoft Exchange Server (2010, 2013 ,2016 and O365) with Active Directory 2012 R2/2016 datacenter setup Hybrid or on premises environment
  • Leading migration projects for upgrading Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013 2016O365
  • Configure and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure setups - DNS, DHCP, GPO,
  • Install and configure Backups Veeam/PHD/Symantec Backup
  • MDM setups Airwatch, inTune, PulseMDM
  • Perform disaster recovery drills for Gravitas customers
  • Work on scripting Windows PowerShell and Exchange PowerShell, Logon scripts, etc.
  • Provide timely response to all incidents, outages, and performance alerts. Categorize issues for escalation to appropriate technical teams
  • Recognize, identify and prioritize incidents in accordance with customer business requirements, organizational policies and operational impact
  • Document all actions in accordance with standard company policies and procedures.
  • Notify customer and third-party service providers of issues, outages and remediation status
  • Update runbooks and train new engineers with Gravitas processes

Windows Servers L2/L3

  • Setup and install/upgrade Windows Server 2012 and 2016
  • Install/ Configuration and migration of Active Directory Domain controller
  • Active Directory (AD) related issues - DNS zone issues; Sites/Subnets review;
  • Configure and troubleshoot Group Policies and Replication issues
  • Scripting experience in configuration of Windows server 2012, 2016 and 2019
  • Install and configure DFS/ DFS-R for the environment, fix replication issues
  • Contact vendors in case of system failures
  • Upgrade system hardware and software, perform patching during non-business hours
  • Install /configure and troubleshoot Print servers/printers on the environment
  • Upgrade system hardware and software, perform patching during non-business hours
  • Recommend system improvements and work with Gravitas engineering, operations and client services teams to implement improvements

GCP- Google cloud Platform.

Google Workspace Maintenance and management of the below services

  • Google Mail
  • Google Calendar
  • Google Drive
  • Google Meet
  • User onboarding and offboarding

Other Technologies

  • DFS Setup and implement DFS share for the client environment and troubleshooting, designing scripts
  • RSA Implement and configure portal for RSA authentication and fix issues
  • VPN Setup and configure VPN portals for the clients and troubleshooting
  • Maintain and administer client's phone and videoconferencing system
  • Recommend system improvements and work with Gravitas engineering, operations and client services teams to implement improvements

Advantage With Additional Skills

  • Must hold at least 6 years of work experience as Windows administrator or relevant.
  • Candidates must have knowledge on Level 2/3 (Server/infrastructure Technology)
  • Candidates should have handled international customers (Preferably US/UK)
