Senior Engineer - SPM Design

Sansera Engineering is an engineering-led integrated manufacturer of complex and high-precision forged and machined components for the automotive and aerospace sectors, primarily supplying to original equipment manufacturers in India and internationally that are critical for engine, transmission and other systems for the two-wheeler, passenger vehicle and light and heavy commercial vehicle verticals in the automotive sector and non Automotive sector.

Job Title: Senior Engineer

Department: Special Purpose Machine Design

Prime Function: Special Purpose Machine Designing & Development

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute machine design activities effectively.
• Focus on achieving project targets and deadlines.
• Identify and resolve critical issues, validating design accuracy.
• Optimize machine designs to reduce manufacturing costs.
• Review, check, and release drawings for subsequent processes.
• Support concerned departments with required machine design changes.
• Resolve technical issues related to machine design in collaboration with internal customers.

Educational Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in designing special purpose machines such as metal cutting machines, CNC machines, etc.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and any 3D design software, preferably Autodesk Inventor.

Expertise in design calculations, including:

• Sizing servo motors.
• Bearing selection.
• LM Guide selection.
• Sound knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with machining processes.
