What you will do
The Store Engineering Mobile Device Management team at TJX plays a critical role in supporting our global operations by ensuring seamless deployment, configuration, and management of mobile compute and printing solutions.
As a Senior Engineer, you will be instrumental in implementing and supporting SOTI Connect for Zebra mobile printers across multiple environments and use cases. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient MDM solutions that support TJX s evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and manage SOTI Connect environments (Production and Development) to support diverse TJX use cases.
- Provide expert-level support for Zebra mobile printers (ZQ610, ZQ620), including configuration using ZPL and SGD commands.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to enhance and automate TJX s custom printer staging tools.
- Create comprehensive device staging procedures and user documentation to support deployment and training.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support of mobile printer solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile printer connectivity, configuration, and performance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of MDM practices and standards within the organization.
What You will Need (Minimum Qualifications)
- Proven experience with SOTI Connect, including configuration and management in enterprise environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Zebra mobile printers and command languages (ZPL, SGD).
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and tool development.
- Experience creating technical documentation and user guides.
- Ability to work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with enterprise MDM platforms and mobile device lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management tools.
