As a Senior Engineer in Solution QA at GreyOrange, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge robotic solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and operations teams, to define and improve testing processes, develop test strategies, and execute comprehensive test plans. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute robust test plans and test cases for robotic solutions and software applications.
- Identify, analyze, and document defects, and work collaboratively with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to validate the full range of system functionality.
- Develop automation scripts and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality assurance process.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to understand system requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.
- Conduct risk assessments and contribute to product release readiness reviews.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality within the team.
Skills And Tools Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in software testing methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Selenium).
- Solid understanding of agile development practices and the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in testing robotic systems or hardware-software integration is a plus.
