L2 SOC Analyst

Experience: 3–5 Years
Location: Bangalore

Role Summary

Looking for an L2 SOC Analyst with hands-on experience in SIEM, EDR/XDR, and incident response to investigate security alerts, perform analysis, and support SOC operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and investigate alerts from SIEM & EDR tools
• Perform L2 triage, incident analysis, and RCA
• Handle escalations from L1 and escalate complex cases to L3
• Respond to incidents like phishing, malware, and suspicious activity
• Enrich alerts using threat intelligence (IOCs)
• Document incidents and maintain reports

Required Skills:

• Experience with SIEM (QRadar/Sentinel/Splunk)
• Hands-on with EDR tools (CrowdStrike/Defender/SentinelOne)
• Strong knowledge of incident response & log analysis
• Basic networking (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/S)

Preferred:

• Certifications: CEH, Security+
• Basic scripting (KQL, SPL, Python)
