Senior Engineer Reliability - Electrical

Role: Reliance Carbon Fiber - Engineering Services - Senior Engineer - Electrical

Education: Masters/Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience: 6 to 12 years

Job Description:

1. Conduct day to day activities & follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

2. Participate in periodic audit activities to identify gaps and ensure equipment maintenance system adherence to group standards, best practices pertaining to electrical equipment

3. Conduct procedures for repairs to electrical equipment and associated appurtenances in accordance with codes, standards and RAGAGEPs

4. Follow applicable HSEF procedures/ practices with awareness about environmental statutory regulations and safety protocols

5. Implement energy conservation initiatives in order to support environmental sustainability efforts

6. self abreast with leading electrical maintenance practices & trends and contribute to the identification of continuous improvement of systems, processes and procedures 

7. Coordinate with statutory authorities. Maintain all records supporting statutory compliance with respect to electrical equipment 

8. Undertake initiatives for trainings to enhance competencies and participation in training as per requirement

9. Prepare preventive and predictive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance to the maintenance procedures

10. Manage implementation of standard maintenance procedure and plant maintenance procedures in order to reduce plant failures 

11. Provide technical expertise pertaining to electrical equipment and maintenance to sub-ordinates

Preferred Experience:

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering

2. 3-7 years of experience in engineering & maintenance discipline, with at least 1-3 years of experience in electrical equipment (troubleshooting, maintenance and condition monitoring)

3. Knowledge of project management

4. Knowledge of reliability centered management, FMEA, RCA techniques

5. Knowledge of power system operations and maintenance

6. Knowledge of SAP PM/ MM modules

7. Troubleshooting Capabilities
