Education: Masters/Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 6 to 12 years
Job Description
- Conduct day to day activities & follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Participate in periodic audit activities to identify gaps and ensure equipment maintenance system adherence to group standards, best practices pertaining to electrical equipment
- Conduct procedures for repairs to electrical equipment and associated appurtenances in accordance with codes, standards and RAGAGEPs
- Follow applicable HSEF procedures/ practices with awareness about environmental statutory regulations and safety protocols
- Implement energy conservation initiatives in order to support environmental sustainability efforts
- self abreast with leading electrical maintenance practices & trends and contribute to the identification of continuous improvement of systems, processes and procedures
- Coordinate with statutory authorities. Maintain all records supporting statutory compliance with respect to electrical equipment
- Undertake initiatives for trainings to enhance competencies and participation in training as per requirement
- Prepare preventive and predictive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance to the maintenance procedures
- Manage implementation of standard maintenance procedure and plant maintenance procedures in order to reduce plant failures
- Provide technical expertise pertaining to electrical equipment and maintenance to sub-ordinates
Preferred Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3-7 years of experience in engineering & maintenance discipline, with at least 1-3 years of experience in electrical equipment (troubleshooting, maintenance and condition monitoring)
- Knowledge of project management
- Knowledge of reliability centered management, FMEA, RCA techniques
- Knowledge of power system operations and maintenance
- Knowledge of SAP PM/ MM modules
- Troubleshooting Capabilities
