Role Summary
As the Final Quality Control Engineer, you will lead the last line of defines in product quality before dispatch. You'll oversee inspection protocols, enforce IPC standards, manage defect analysis, and ensure customer satisfaction through zero-defect delivery. This role demands technical rigor, process discipline, and team empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
Final Inspection & Dispatch Readiness
- Oversee visual, dimensional, and electrical testing of PCBs
- Approve QA certificates and dispatch clearance
- Ensure compliance with IPC-A-600, IPC-6012, and customer specs
Process Control & Documentation
- Own SOPs for final inspection, packaging, and QA reporting
- Maintain traceable inspection logs and CAPA records
- Drive continuous improvement in FQC workflows
Team Leadership & Training
- Supervise FQC inspectors and shift leads
- Conduct skill matrix reviews and SOP refreshers
- Promote a culture of ownership and accountability
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Liaise with production, QA, and customer service for feedback closure
- Support internal audits and customer visits
- Benchmark inspection tools and methods
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years in PCB manufacturing QA/FQC
- Strong command of IPC standards and test methods
- Experience with AOI, flying probe, X-ray, and manual inspection
- Proficiency in ERP systems and QA documentation
