Position: Senior Engineer – QA Automation (Python, Robot Framework, Appium) (CE46ST RM 4392)

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Engineer – QA Automation with strong hands-on experience in Python, Robot Framework, Appium, and Mobile Automation. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end automation solutions across embedded systems, mobile applications, and cloud-based platforms.

The ideal candidate should have a solid background in automation framework development, test execution within CI/CD pipelines, and system-level end-to-end testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and infrastructure.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications based on requirements and manual test cases.
• Develop reusable Robot Framework keywords and Python-based automation utilities.
• Automate test scenarios for mobile applications using Appium.
• Execute and maintain automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Analyze test execution results, investigate failures, log defects, and validate fixes.
• Perform system-level and end-to-end (E2E) testing across integrated solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and automation best practices.
• Partner with stakeholders to align testing strategies with business objectives.
  
  

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with Python, Robot Framework, Appium, Mobile Test Automation
• 4 to 7 years of QA Automation experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Python development experience for automation testing.
• Experience in designing, developing, and enhancing automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Jenkins (CI/CD), Git, Jira, Confluence
• Experience with debugging, defect management, and test reporting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience working in Product Development, CoE, or R&D environments across multiple global locations.
• Domain: HVAC / Automotive / Medical devices but not limited to.
• Exposure to embedded + mobile + cloud systems.
• B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical or Electronics or Computers.
