Making an impact. What will you do
- In this role you will be closely working with all the teams in PMW2 to prepare the list of materials required
- Further you will be raising of the Shopping carts (SCs) of the desired materials & sharing the same with the central procurement team
- Furthermore, you will involve in the Technical Supplier assessments
- Moreover, you will be following up with the concerned central procurement officials to expedite the processing of the SCs as & when required
- Additionally, you will be maintaining SCs list of all team members to expedite the processing of the same. Also, maintain accurate purchase records and update databases
- Further you will post PO placement, following up with the suppliers for the timely delivery. In case of any delay, reporting at appropriate levels to all stakeholders
- Thereafter you will collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to procurement activities
- Additionally, you will collaborate with Quality Control department to resolve any supplier quality issues
Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes
- You have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant procurement experience of six (6) years or Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with three (3) years of procurement experience in pressure vessel manufacturing
- Further if you have experience in cryogenic vessels manufacturing with Diploma in Mechanical Engineering then that will be added advantage
- Knowledge of Pressure vessels parts and manufacturing, as well of sourcing of parts required in the fabrication of Cryogenic vessels
- Also, you have knowledge of Oxygen cleaning services
