Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India's first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. Position Overview:

Senior Engineer – Process Exhaust will be responsible for end-to-end design, execution, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of semiconductor process exhaust systems for high-tech fab facilities.

Required Technical Expertise

  • Acid, Ammonia, VOC, CVD, Toxic and General Exhaust
  • Exhaust Chemistry
  • Semiconductor tool exhaust hook-up requirements
  • Airflow and pressure balancing
  • Corrosion resistant materials selection, ducting (FRP / PVDF / SS)
  • VOC handling and LEL safety
  • Hazardous exhaust segregation philosophy
  • Layout understanding of laterals, Branches and main exhaust ducting, SUN / SUS / Wet Scrubber systems
  • Exhaust fans and blowers with redundancy
  • Stack emission and regulatory compliance, Emission monitoring & compliance systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Design review & engineering coordination
  • BIM models review, solutions and recommendations
  • Preparation/review of P&IDs, layouts, calculations, specifications
  • Coordination with Consultants, Stakeholders, General contractors, OEMs, process, HVAC, electrical, FMCS & tool hookups.
  • Startup & commissioning support
  • Operation, maintenance & troubleshooting
  • Breakdown, CAPA analysis
  • Preventive & predictive maintenance planning
  • Reliability Engineering
  • HAZOP, safety compliance & incident investigation
  • Emission monitoring & statutory compliance

Software Tools

  • AutoCAD
  • Navisworks / Revit (Preferred)
  • MS office

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience
  • Semiconductor Fab / Cleanroom / High-Tech Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience in 300mm wafer fabs highly desirable
